Gearing up for her role as Lisbeth Salander, Rooney Mara was spotted in Stockholm, Sweden on Tuesday (September 7).
The ?Social Network? actress looked a bit serious as she walked along the busy street with her companion while looking surprised to spot the on-hand paparazzi.
The highly-anticipated ?The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? will begin production later this month and will also feature Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard and Robin Wright.
Ms Mara beat out some hefty competition to land the role of Lisbeth- other talented actresses being considered for the role were Scarlet Johansson, Kristen Stewart, Ellen Page, Natalie Portman and Emma Watson.
