The women of The Real Housewives franchises are known for their verbal attacks and now, sadly, it seems like physical ones, too. In 2009 Kelly Bensimon was arrested for assaulting her boyfriend and who can forget this year's shoving match during The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show?
Now, it seems as though Ramona Singer of The Real Housewives of New York City has joined the list. According to US Weekly, 53-year-old Singer punched one of the show's producer while filming a scene in her apartment alongside Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan.
A source claims, "She was furious and felt like the producers were ganging up on her. She literally lost her mind." A second insider said of last week's alleged incident, "No one is really sure what exactly spurred her craziness. But she got herself worked up over filming this scene and one thing led to another, and she punched the producer. Literally."
The altercation, which halted the rest of the day's filming, took place just one month into shooting the show's fourth season. One of the sources claims producers are trying to "mediate the situation so the cast all stays filming.” Bravo did not comment on the rumored assault.
