'We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany too!' Lachey told Rachael Ray.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo might kick off 2011 as Mr. and Mrs. Lachey. When Nick stopped by the "Rachael Ray" show on Wednesday, he spilled the beans that the pair might marry while on vacation over the holidays.
"We're going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas," he said, according to Usmagazine.com, before sharing the big news. "We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!"
Lachey says he's pretty easygoing about the wedding-planning process, leaving most of it up to the bride-to-be. "I just basically told her, I said, 'Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I'll be there,' " he told Ray.
While they won't be spending New Year's Eve watching the ball drop in Times Square this year, they have spent their fair share of new-year celebrations in New York, helping to host MTV's New Year's Eve festivities. In 2007, the two were even spotted smooching on camera at the stroke of midnight. This year's New Year's kiss might have even more sentimental value if Lachey has his way.
The pair confirmed their engagement in November. "Hey all," Lachey wrote on Twitter. "If anyone's heard the rumors of my engagement, they are absolutely true! Vanessa and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the love."
While Lachey and Minnillo may have set the date for their big day, Lachey's ex-wife, newly engaged Jessica Simpson, has yet to plan out the day for her wedding to football player Eric Johnson. "I have not set a date and I can't even think about putting together table settings at the moment," Simpson said. "I'm just gonna enjoy the engagement and we'll get married the moment we feel like it."
